Refunds
A transparent refund and cancellation policy for Prismatics Digital Design covering deposits, scheduled work, scope changes, third-party fees, remote U.S. services, and Illinois on-site services.
Effective as of January 1, 2026.
This policy explains general refund and cancellation expectations for Prismatics Digital Design inquiries and service projects. The signed proposal or agreement for a specific project should control if it includes different terms.
Deposits, retainers, setup fees, discovery fees, consultation fees, and scheduled work fees may be non-refundable once time has been reserved, planning has started, access has been reviewed, or custom work has begun.
Refund eligibility depends on the signed proposal, payment terms, completed work, reserved time, third-party costs, and whether cancellation occurs before or after work begins.
Clients should submit cancellation requests in writing. Work completed before cancellation, approved expenses, third-party fees, and reserved project time may affect refund eligibility.
For monthly maintenance or support arrangements, cancellation should be requested before the next billing period when possible. Work already performed or scheduled for the current billing period may remain billable.
If project scope changes, Prismatics Digital Design should provide a written change estimate before additional work begins. Approved change work may not be refundable once completed.
Domain registrations, hosting, subscriptions, app store fees, licensed assets, paid plugins, advertising spend, and other third-party costs are generally controlled by the third-party provider and may be non-refundable.
Send a written request through the contact methods listed on the Contact page. Include your name, project name, invoice or proposal reference, payment date, and reason for the request.
Refund review requests can be sent to Info@prismaticsdigital.com. Requests are reviewed based on the written scope, project status, completed work, reserved time, and any third-party expenses.
For remote U.S. services, refund and cancellation requests are reviewed under applicable United States law and the governing terms of the signed agreement.
For Illinois on-site services or Illinois-based local engagements, refund and cancellation requests are reviewed under applicable Illinois law unless a signed agreement states otherwise.
